The most rational candidates have completed orthopedic evaluation with MRI, have a clear rehabilitation plan, and are seeking an adjunct rather than a substitute for that plan.

Not appropriate as a way to avoid imaging or orthopedic assessment, and no peptide addresses a mechanically displaced, locking, or bucket-handle tear that requires surgical intervention. Competitive athletes must note that BPC-157 is a research-grade compound prohibited by most anti-doping bodies.

Why the meniscus is a special case

The meniscus is divided into a vascular outer "red zone" that can heal and an avascular inner "white zone" that generally cannot. This poor blood supply is the central obstacle in meniscal healing and the reason interest exists in angiogenic, pro-healing agents — while also being why expectations must stay modest, since improving signaling cannot rebuild blood supply where none exists.

Critically, no controlled human trials demonstrate meniscal healing with BPC-157. The mechanistic story is plausible but unproven in this indication.

Protocol context (illustrative only)

Practitioner and anecdotal protocols vary widely and lack standardization or human dosing trials. BPC-157 is frequently paired with TB-500 on a complementary-mechanism rationale (cell migration and remodeling). Because there is no validated human dosing, no specific regimen can be responsibly recommended here, and any use should occur under qualified medical supervision.

What is not illustrative but essential is the rehabilitation backbone: progressive quadriceps and hip strengthening, load management, range-of-motion restoration, and a graded return to activity guided by symptoms and function.
