Cartalax is a synthetic tripeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp) from the Khavinson bioregulator family, designed to target cartilage and musculoskeletal tissue. It is the synthetic analog derived from cartilage tissue extracts and is proposed to regulate chondrocyte gene expression.
