NA-Selank Amidate
Research-Grade
NA-Selank Amidate is a modified version of the Russian-developed anxiolytic peptide Selank (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro, itself derived from the endogenous tetrapeptide tuftsin). The N-acetylation and C-terminal amidation modifications protect the peptide from aminopeptidase and carboxypeptidase degradation, respectively, extending its half-life and improving CNS penetration via intranasal delivery. The parent compound Selank has been approved in Russia as an anxiolytic since 2009 and has documented effects on GABA receptor modulation, brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) expression, and serotonin metabolism. NA-Selank Amidate is positioned as a research-grade enhancement designed for greater stability and potency per dose, though its clinical evidence base is thinner than that of standard Selank.
